More Than 13 Lakh People Got Corona Vaccine In Single Day

More than 13 lakh people got the Corona vaccine in a single day, For the first time in the country, so far 1.80 crore vaccinations.

For the first time in the country, more than 1.3 million people have been injected with the Corona vaccine in a single day.

The Union Health Ministry has said that 13 lakh 88 thousand 170 people have been administered the Corona vaccine in the last 24 hours in the country.

The total dose given so far has crossed 1.80 crores (1,80,05,503), with 13.88 lakh doses on the 48th day of vaccination in the country.

For the first time, the number of vaccinations in a single day has crossed 13 lakhs.

According to the data, 68.38 lakh healthcare workers and 60.22 lakh frontline workers have received the first dose, while 30.82 lakh health workers and 54,177 frontline workers have been given the second dose.

Vaccination against Corona in the country began on 16 January. Healthcare workers were vaccinated in the first phase. Vaccination for frontline workers was introduced on February 2.

Extending the scope of vaccination, since the first March, all the people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of serious illness have been vaccinated.

So far, 14.95 lakh people over 60 years of age have been vaccinated. 2.18 lakh people suffering from serious diseases over 45 years of age have been vaccinated.

Election commission started vaccination of employees.

The Election Commission has started the process of vaccination for its officers and employees. It started with former Chief Election Commissioner MS Gill.

The Commission has said that after getting vaccinated to all officers and employees, Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora and Election Commissioners Sushil Chandra and Rajiv Kumar will get the vaccine.

Arora recently told the media that all the staff going to perform duty during the upcoming assembly elections are frontline workers. Everyone will get vaccinated before going on duty.

Bollywood has also taken steps towards vaccination.

Bollywood celebrities are also coming forward for vaccination in the phase which started on 1st March. On Thursday, filmmaker and actor Rakesh Roshan and actor Satish Shah got vaccinated.

Rakesh Roshan shared his picture on Instagram with the vaccine. Sharing his experience, Satish Shah also wrote, ‘There was a lot of tension outside and a very disciplined atmosphere inside.

I also got a little rebuke as to why I did not use the VIP gate. But it was nice to see RK Laxman behaving like a common man.

Appeal to put accredited journalists on a priority list.

The Press Association has appealed to the Central Government to allow the accredited journalists to be vaccinated keeping it on the priority list.

The association said that like many areas of health, safety, and other areas, many journalists have lost their lives while doing duty in the Corona era.

Like other essential services, the media actively took responsibility during the entire epidemic.
