A Naxalite attack took place in Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh on Friday in which two Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans were martyred.

Inspector General of Bastar range Sundarraj P said that the attack took place at Kademeta camp at 12.10 pm. The ambushed Naxalites attacked the soldiers at a distance of 600 meters from the camp.

After this, the Naxalites escaped after looting an AK-47 rifle, two bulletproof jackets, and walkie-talkies from the jawans.

The soldiers who were martyred were E company personnel of the 45th Battalion of ITBP. Bastar IG Sundarraj P has given this information.

Police said, ‘Assistant Commandant Sudhakar Shinde and Assistant Sub Inspector Gurmukh Singh were martyred. Both of them were in the 45th battalion of ITBP.

Military aid has been rushed to the crash site after the attack. Simultaneously, the security forces have started the search operation.

It is noteworthy that four days ago, three Naxalites were arrested by the security forces in the Naxal-affected Dantewada district. Today’s incident is being seen in connection with it.

It is believed that today’s Naxalite attack has been done to avenge security forces.

In fact, three Naxalites Hunga Kartam (25), Ayta Madvi (25), and Pojja alias Lathi Kartam (28) were arrested by security forces from the Kuakonda police station area of ​​Dantewada.

Police officials had said that on Sunday, the police team was sent from the Kuakonda police station towards Badegudra and Atepal villages.

When the team was in the forest near Atepal village, three suspects started running away. The police team laid siege and caught them.

During interrogation, he told the police team his name was Hunga Kartam, Ayta Madvi, and Pojja alias Lathi Kartam.
