Opening Bell: Open stock market declines, Tata Motors and Hero MotoCorp shares surge. Indian stock market opened with a fall on Monday. While writing the news, BSE’s Sensex was seen trading at a level of 37,357.47, down by 249.42 points i.e. 0.66 percent.

At the same time, NSE Nifty was also trading at 11,026.40, down 0.42 percent i.e. 47.05 points. In the first trading session of the week today, the focus will be on Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Bandhan Bank, Cadila, IOC, and Mahindra & Mahindra.

At the time of writing the news, among the companies in the Nifty 50 stocks which saw the fastest growth include Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, and Eicher Motors. HCL Tech saw a gain of 1.64 percent and Maruti Suzuki 1.63 percent. At the same time, shares of Powergrid, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, and IOC were seen falling.

On Friday opening bell, the Nifty was down 29 points and closed at 11,073.45 points. At the same time, the BSE Sensitive Index Sensex was down 129 points at 37,606.89. As per preliminary data, on July 31, FIIs sold Rs 958.64 crore in the cash segment of the Indian stock market. At the same time, domestic institutional investors had net purchases of Rs 442.73 crore.

State of American markets
On Friday, Nasdaq recorded a bounce of more than one percent. The main reason for this was the good results of the big American companies. However, the Dow and S&P closed with a slight increase due to economic concerns related to the US government’s next announcement about the coronavirus.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a level of 26428.32 with a gain of 114.67 points, or 0.44 percent, while the S&P 500 gained 24.9 points, or 0.77%, to close at 3,271.12. On the other hand, Nasdaq Composite closed at 10,745.28, up 1.49%.

Asian market moves
Talking about the Asian markets, Nikkei 225 was up 448.44 points at the time of writing the news and was trading at a level of 22158.44. However, other Asian markets were in decline. Straight times traded with a loss of 26.77 points, Hang Seng 194.23 points, Taiwan Weighted 120.09 points, and Cospi 3.16 points.
