Two terrorists entered the office on the pretext of getting the land documents made, then opened fire on the official Kashmiri Hindu Rahul Bhatt.
On Thursday, terrorists entered the Chadoora (Budgam) Tehsildar office and shot dead a Kashmiri Hindu worker. A terrorist organization named Kashmir Tiggs claimed the responsibility for the incident.
This is the sixth terrorist attack on Kashmiri Hindus and non-Muslims who came to earn their livelihood from other states of the country during the last one and a half months in the Valley.
During this, there have been three attacks among Kashmiri Hindus in which two Kashmiri Hindus have been killed.

According to the information received here, there was a crowd of people in the office of Tehsildar Chadoora this afternoon like on other days.
In the afternoon, suddenly two youths, who were terrorists, entered the office on the pretext of getting the land documents made.
He headed straight to the room where Rahul Bhatt, a Kashmiri Hindu employee, was sitting and handling his work.
One of the two terrorists stood right near their desk and took out a pistol from his clothes and fired bullets at Rahul Bhatt.
Due to this, Rahul Bhatt fell to the ground covered in blood. When the whole campus was stirred by the sound of gunfire, people started running here and there to save their lives.
By the time the security personnel present on the tehsil premises could manage the situation by reaching the spot, the terrorists escaped taking advantage of the chaos that took place there.
The injured Rahul Bhatt was brought to the Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital in Srinagar for treatment at the same time, but he passed away on the way without taking care of his wounds.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the attacking terrorists have been identified. Soon he will be captured or he will be killed. To nab them, the security forces are continuously raiding their hideouts.
