Giving information about this, an official of the Health Department said that at present the situation of coronavirus in the state is completely under control.

State Public Health Director G Srinivasa Rao said that in such a situation it can be said that the second wave of coronavirus has completely ended in the state.

He said that if we look at various parameters like the number of new cases being reported, daily positivity rate, and hospitalization rate, now the coronavirus is completely under control in Telangana.

Let us inform you that 424 new cases of the corona were registered in Telangana on Wednesday.

After which the total number of infected cases in the state has increased to 6,53,626. Apart from this, the recovery rate and mortality rates are 98.35 percent and 0.58.

After Corona, now dengue and malaria diseases came to the fore.

G Srinivas said that while the situation of coronavirus has been under control, seasonal diseases like dengue and malaria are coming to the fore in some districts of the state.

The state government has initiated various measures to tackle the increase in malaria and dengue cases. The administration urged people to take precautionary measures to avoid getting infected.

Rao said the state is in a position to eliminate malaria. He said that cases of malaria have been reported in Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Mulugu districts this year.

He said dengue cases are mainly seen in urban areas, of which 50 percent are reported in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

The state government has taken anti-larva campaigns and other measures to check the spread of seasonal diseases.

Door to door fever survey has been done in GHMC. Preparations have also been intensified in hospitals.
