Three Terrorists Killed In The Encounter: Pulwama Encounter
Three terrorists killed in the encounter were involved in the attack on the BJP leader’s house: Pulwama Encounter.
Three of the four Lashkar-e-Taiba militants, who killed the policeman Rameez Raja, who was killed and attacked by BJP leader Anwar Khan in Srinagar’s Naugam, were killed by the security forces within twenty-four hours.
The terrorists were hiding in the Gath Mohalla area of Kakapora in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, carrying out the attack.
The three terrorists were piled by security forces one after the other in the ongoing encounter in the early hours of the morning.
Meanwhile, some mischievous elements also pelted stones at the security forces to influence the encounter. Two civilians have been injured in this. The injured also include a girl.
According to sources, the slain terrorists have been identified as Sohail Lone, Yasir Ahmed, both resident Thiru, while the third has been identified as Preah, a resident of Junaid.
All three terrorists belonged to Alabdar. Although officially, the identity of these terrorists has not been revealed yet.
A senior police official claimed that they were the same terrorists who had attacked the BJP leader’s house in Naugam Srinagar last Thursday.
He got firm information about this matter. Police have taken the bodies of the three terrorists in their possession. A large amount of arms and ammunition has also been recovered from the site of the encounter.
During the encounter, the security forces allowed the three terrorists to surrender several times. Their families were also called to the encounter site to convince the terrorists to lay down their arms but they too failed to persuade them.

Within two hours of the encounter, a terrorist was killed. Later it was decided to demolish the house in which the terrorists were hiding from the IED. But the other two terrorists were also killed one after the other.
Police got the information early this morning that some terrorists have been seen in Gath Mohalla of Kakapora. A joint contingent of SOG, Army’s 50 RR, and CRPF reached the area and started a siege.
At the same time, when the terrorists saw the security forces coming towards them, they started firing. As soon as the firing started, some mischievous elements in the area started throwing stones at the army to influence the operation.
Along with the encounter, the army kept away mischievous elements. Two civilians, including a girl, were injured during the clashes on both sides.
Block Medical Officer (BMO) Pampore Dr. Gulzar Ahmed said that two injured were brought to the hospital from Upazila Hospital (SDH) Pampore Sambora. After providing first aid he has been shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
The injured include Ishrat Jaan (25) as daughter Abdul Aziz Dar, Ghulam Nabi Dar (42) as son Ali Muhammad Dar.
The slain terrorists have not yet been identified. A large number of offensive documents along with arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the encounter.
Let me tell you that the last Thursday, four terrorists dressed as women wearing a burqa, opened fire at the house of BJP leader Anwar Khan in Naugam, Srinagar, and opened fire.
In this attack, a policeman posted at the house of the BJP leader was martyred. The terrorists escaped after quick retaliation by other security personnel. During this time, he also took the rifle of the martyred policeman with him.
