Two Overground Workers Of Lashkar-e-Taiba Arrested In Shopian
Two overground workers of Lashkar were arrested in Shopian, and arms and ammunition were recovered.
Police claimed to have arrested two terrorist associates linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba in the Keller area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Police have also recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from both the arrested overground workers.
Police are interrogating both. It is being claimed that more arrests may be possible on the basis of interrogation.

A senior police officer said that on the basis of the information, Shopian Police along with Army and CRPF personnel conducted a search operation in the Keller area.
During the same search operation, the security forces caught both these people. They have been identified as Gauhar Manzoor Bhat and Abid Hussain Nanda, both residents of Drabgam Pulwama.
On search, a pistol, a hand grenade, 10 rounds, and Rs 60,000 were recovered from them.
In the preliminary interrogation, it has come to light that these two associates working for the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization were entrusted with the responsibility of the terrorist attack.
