The state health minister said Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, and Kannur districts are facing vaccine shortages. Only 1.4 lakh doses are left in the state.

Vaccine shortage in Kerala: The minister said that there is limited stock of vaccines in all the districts.

George said in a statement here that we have requested the Center to give more doses of Covidshield at the earliest.

Many people do not want to take covaxines even though both vaccines are effective as well as safe.

Let us inform you that Kerala is witnessing an increase in the cases of coronavirus infection daily and on Thursday this number exceeded 41 lakhs.

The reach of the anti-coronavirus vaccine is increasing continuously in each of the states.

According to the report, more than 65 crore corona vaccine doses have been provided to the states and union territories so far. Apart from this, 1.20 crore corona vaccine doses are in the pipeline.

Also, about 4.36 crore vaccine doses are yet to be delivered to the states and union territories.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 45,352 new cases of corona have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people cured of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours stood at 35,181.

What will the lockdown look like in Kerala?

The infection is not being controlled in Kerala. According to the report of the news agency, 29,322 new cases of infection were reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours while 131 people died.

With this, the number of infected in the state has crossed 41.51 lakh while the death toll has gone up to 21,280. However, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has refused to impose a complete lockdown in Kerala.

According to the news agency, he said that imposing the lockdown will create a big crisis for the economy and livelihood.
