NIA raids in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, search operation continues on terror funding and terrorist hideouts.
NIA raids in Pulwama: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday i.e. this morning.
This action of the investigating agency has been taken to bust terrorist hideouts. The probe agency has carried out search operations at two places in Pulwama in connection with the terror-related case.
The NIA is conducting raids at two places in the South Kashmir district, Dargund and Ugargund.
NIA raids at five places in Pulwama and Kulgam.
Officials said NIA officials accompanied by police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel raided the terror hideouts at these places early in the morning and carried out searches there.
According to the information received, NIA along with the personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF raided five places simultaneously in districts Pulwama and Kulgam this morning.
Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist’s house raided.
The NIA has conducted searches at the house of Umar Ganai, a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, in Shuch village of Kulgam. Umar Ganai was killed in an encounter with security forces about a year ago.
His father and brother have also been questioned, but officially the concerned authorities have not given any information about this. NIA has also raided two places in Pulwama.
