Suicide attack at a meeting of radical Islamic political party in Pakistan, ISIS took responsibility.

The reason for the suicide attack at a meeting of a radical Islamic political party in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan has been revealed.

At least 44 people have been killed and more than 100 have been injured in this suicide attack.

On Monday, the police said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the dreaded terrorist organization ISIS is behind the attack.

The attack took place on Sunday when over 400 members of the hardline Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) party were holding a rally.

Police are investigating the scene.

The police officer said that they are probing the Bajaur suicide attack and gathering information. Preliminary investigation suggests that banned organization Daesh (ISIS) was involved.

Police said they are gathering information about the attacker, while a bomb disposal squad team is collecting evidence from the scene.

District Police Officer Nazir Khan said three suspects have been detained. Provincial police chief Akhtar Hayat Khan said 10 kilograms of explosives were used by the suicide bomber in the blast.

He said the assailants were sitting at the forefront of the rally crowd. So the attacker detonated in front of the conference stage.

44 people died in the attack.

According to police and eyewitnesses, the attackers detonated the JUI-F district emir Maulana Abdul Rasheed as soon as he reached the stage.

The dead included JUI-F Tehsil Khar Maulana Ziaullah Jan, Navgai Tehsil General Secretary Maulana Hameedullah, District Information Secretary Mujahid Khan, and dozens of party workers.
