UN approves PM Modi’s proposal, and 190 countries support building a memorial wall.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has adopted a resolution initiated by India to build a memorial wall by the peacekeeping mission for fallen soldiers and the countries supporting the initiative.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed happiness over the approval of the proposal for the construction of the Memorial Wall in the United Nations.

PM Modi thanked all the countries for supporting this proposal. The Prime Minister wrote on Twitter, “I am happy that the resolution to set up a new memorial wall for martyred peacekeepers has been passed in the United Nations General Assembly.

A record 190 countries co-sponsored the resolution. Thank you all for your support.
