Partition of Jammu and Kashmir is not going to happen, some mischievous elements are trying to create fear: Jammu Kashmir Lieutenant Governor.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha bluntly said that neither there is going to be a bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir nor anything big is going to happen for which the deployment of additional security forces is going to happen here.

This is nothing more than just a rumor being spread by mischievous elements for their vested interests to create fear and confusion among the people.

Along with this, he said that assembly elections will be held here as soon as the process of delimitation is completed.

Trying to clear the confusion regarding the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath, he said that it will be decided only after taking stock of the situation. People’s lives are most important to us.

In an interview with a private news channel, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, while discussing the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, said that many people here do not have anything good to do.

Taking advantage of the sentiments of common Kashmiris, these people create fear and confusion among the people for their vested interests by taking recourse to rumors.

The atmosphere that is being created regarding the division of Jammu and Kashmir and the deployment of security forces here, rumors are being spread, these are the brainchild of only a few anti-national elements.

Partition of Jammu and Kashmir is not going to happen: These rumors have also been fueled by mischievous elements operating outside the country.

He said that I deny all these rumors with full responsibility. Here in Jammu and Kashmir, the common people have nothing to do with these rumors. He has denied them.

Deployment of security forces is normal: Describing the increased deployment of paramilitary forces in the state especially in the Valley during the last few days as completely normal.

The Lieutenant Governor said that these security forces had gone for elections in different parts of the country.

Now returning and going to their respective places of original duty. Apart from this, it is a normal process to increase the deployment of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir before the Shri Amarnath Yatra.

Nothing is happening here, for which additional troops of security forces have to be deployed from different parts of the country.

The decision of Amarnath Yatra will be according to the situation: The Lieutenant Governor said about the Amarnath Yatra that we had started the registration of devotees.

It was closed due to the situation arising due to Covid. The final decision regarding the pilgrimage will be taken only after a comprehensive review of the situation.

The safety of the life of common people is of paramount importance to us.

Partition of Jammu and Kashmir is not going to happen: No regional discrimination.

Lt Governor reiterated his commitment towards the all-around and equitable development of the Jammu and Kashmir division.

He said that out of the decisions taken during the last 11 months, you should count anyone decision that is against any particular area or is discriminatory in any way.

All necessary steps are being taken for the equitable development of both Jammu and Kashmir. Here discrimination on any caste, religion, or region is now a thing of the past.

Assembly elections after delimitation: The Lieutenant Governor said that assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir only after the process of delimitation is over.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured this from the ramparts of the Red Fort and the Union Home Minister in Parliament that elections will be held as soon as the process of delimitation is completed.

NC should fulfill its constitutional responsibility: The Lt Governor termed the indication given by Dr. Farooq Abdullah to participate in the meeting of the Delimitation Commission as the right step.

He said that if the NC becomes a part of this process, it will fulfill its constitutional responsibility.

Tricolor is waving everywhere in the plaintiff: The Lieutenant Governor said that today the tricolor is waving at every government office. Those who were opposing NCC are now silent.

Recently I met an NCC cadet from Anantnag. He was carrying the flag of Mother India with great pride and pride. The youth of Kashmir has adopted this pleasant change.

Strict action will be taken against those who spread violence: Referring to the murder of BJP leader Rakesh Pandita, the Lieutenant Governor said that some terrorist incidents have taken place in the valley.

They are here only to disturb the atmosphere of peace and development. We have taken strong notice of these incidents and strict legal action will be taken against the elements involved in these.
