Tariq Mehmood Made The Forest Hotbed Of Terrorist Activities

Tariq Mehmood made the forest hotbed of terrorist activities. Tariq Mehmood was responsible for the protection of the forest, but he made it a den of terror.

He had the responsibility of maintaining the forest along the Line of Control (LoC). Taking advantage of this, he made the forest of Poonch a hotbed of terrorist activities.

From weapons to drugs and counterfeit currency, he created such an illusion that even the agencies could not understand him.

Now the cordon has been tightened on him too and the state government has shown the way out of the job to Tariq Mehmood Kohli, a forest officer resident of Poonch’s Haveli.

Government sources said that Tariq Mehmood Kohli was given the SIM card by the Pakistani intelligence agency.

He used to use these SIM cards by going to areas adjoining the Line of Control in Poonch.

It has been found in the investigation that he had brought arms, ammunition, narcotics, and fake currency from Pakistan through smuggling and brought them to the terrorists.

He also prepared the blueprint of terrorist activities in Poonch and its adjoining areas.

On the basis of Pakistani SIM cards, he also used to transmit any confidential information to them while in touch with the officials and terrorists of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI sitting across the LoC.

He was instructed by the ISI to work as a sleeper cell until the entire atmosphere was prepared for terrorist and separatist activities in Poonch.

He was also close to Abu Hanjla, a notorious Lashkar terrorist who was active in Poonch. He was also caught in 2010. Later he was released and then got involved in terrorist activities.

FIR against journalist dismissed, cease accounts of Relief Commissioner also opened.

The High Court has dismissed the FIR against journalist Sushil Pandit, who tweeted about the terrorist attack on CRPF in Pampore and the death of five soldiers in this attack.

According to the case, on May 21, 2018, around 10 am, a tweet was made by this journalist that there has been a terrorist attack on CRPF in Pampore in which five soldiers have been martyred.
