Riyadh Defense Show: A Glimpse Of Women’s Power In The Indian Armed Forces.

A glimpse of women’s power in the Indian Armed Forces was seen in the Riyadh Defense Show, three women officers showed bravery to the world.

Three women military officers, Squadron Leader Bhavana Kanth, Colonel Ponung Doming, and Lieutenant Commander Annu Prakash, were among the personnel representing India at the World Defense Show in Saudi Arabia. The five-day mega event started on February 4.

The Defense Ministry said that their participation is a testimony to the growing role of Indian women in the defense scenario. All three represented India in various seminars of the World Defense Show, especially the international women’s programs based on defense themes.
