Through Gita’s sermon, the Lord also connected Arjuna’s broken morale on the battlefield. In response, Arjuna took up arms to prepare for war and protect Dharma.

How did Geeta get the name?

The word Bhagavad means God and the word Gita means song. Shri Krishna both preached and sang, hence the name Gita.The Bhagavad Gita is known as the song of God.
